Hola Gente!! Sigo viva, recuperándome de un virus, dándome ánimo. Increíble como quita toda la energía enfermarse. Por lo menos me motivó para hacer las metas de este mes.

Hello people!! I’m still alive, getting better after a stomach virus attacked my body. So i’m pulling through. Its incredible how being sick lefts you without energy. At least this motivated me to do the Monthly Goals.

Película: Vi varios clásicos este mes, uno de ellos fue Pretty Woman, la historia noventera de la Cenicienta. ¿A quién no le gustaría irse de compras por Rodeo Drive? Protagonizada por el sex symbol (de esa época) Richard Gere y Julia Roberts, que se llevaría una nominación al oscar como mejor actriz.

El único problema de la película a mi parecer, es que enaltece ser prostituta, y es algo que nadie sueña en convertirse. Claramente los argumentos han mejorado un poco para las comedias románticas en 28 años, pero aun así molesta un poco.

Movie: I watched many classic movies this month, one of them was Pretty Woman, the Cinderella from the 90s. Who wouldnt want to go to Rodeo Drive and buy everything? Starring the sex symbol (in those years) Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, who got an Academy nomination for best actress.

The only problem with this movie is that makes being a prostitute a good thing, and it’s nobody’s dream. Fortunately, the plot for rom-coms has changed in 28 years, but still it bothers me a little.

Lectura: Origen, por fin lo terminé!! solo necesitaba enfermarme para leer las 200 páginas que me faltaban.

Definitivamente no es mi favorito, pero siempre Dan Brown tiene su toque para mezclar algo de realidad con mucha ficción y hacerlo creíble.

Readings: Origin, finally I finished it!! I just needed to be ill to read the 200 pages i had left.

Definitely not my favourite, but Dan Brown always has something that mixing a little bit of reality with a lot of fiction and he makes it believable.

Lugar nuevo: Café Forastero, fui con una amiga a quien no veía hace mucho tiempo, así que no nos fijamos mucho en la comida, si en la conversa jaja.

El ambiente es super piola, tiene asientos en un patio y al interior. Después iré para probar más cosas.

New place: Café Forastero, I went with a friend that I havent seen in a while, so we didnt pay much attention to food, but to the conversation.

The place has a good vibe, you can sit outside in the backyard or inside. I will come back to taste more things.
